Essential educational qualification & qualifying service

1. Graduate in Electrical / Power Engg. from a recognized University.
2. For deputation/ direct recruitment, officers holding analogous post on regular basis; or with 3 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100, G.P 6600 or equivalent; or with 5 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100, G.P 5400 or equivalent.

Desirable qualification & experience

1. Professional experience in State/ Central Govt./ PSU/ Statutory Body/reputed non-government organization.
2. Operational experience of distribution.
3. Knowledge of Commercial & Economic matters of Discoms/ tariff matters/ power purchase agreement.
4. Knowledge of Electricity Act, 2003 and rules and regulations made thereunder.
